The mission of 10,000 Beds, Inc., a national 501c3 organization, is to connect individuals seeking help to vetted substance abuse programs through donated treatment scholarships, while also being a resource to families affected by the disease of addiction. #onebedonelife #ontheroad4recovery #letuscare
In 2017, 2018 and 2019, 10,000 Beds criss-crossed the country with our #ontheroad4recovery program. With more than 25,000 miles driven for recovery, it was our privilege to meet with thousands of people – families, community leaders, educators, students, treatment programs, individuals battling addiction, elected officials, fellow travelers, and more. We have loved this outreach effort and the people we have met along the way.
In January 2020, our first program visits and community presentations of the year started in Arizona. We look forward to meeting even more amazing people throughout the country this year.
Our #ontheroad4recovery outreach program allows us to connect with thousands of individuals, families and community members throughout the country.
In 2020 we have expanded our #ontheroad4recovery program to include the corporate world.
Our community & corporate outreach program (CCOP) was created to provide opportunities to meet with company leaders, human resource specialists, and employee groups to raise awareness and end the stigma too often associated with a person or family battling an addiction and also associated with individuals in recovery. We are dedicated to making the workplace a safe place for all.

Currently our online application is closed due to complications relating to the Coronavirus. We expect to reopen applications the first Monday in May. Normally, our online applications are open on Monday’s only. As you can imagine, with the addiction crisis our nation is facing, the number of applicants we receive is enormous. Please remember that once your application is submitted, there is a process for approval. We are not a 24/7 overnight placement service or emergency hotline. Once approved, you will check in every Monday to stay active on our list, until we can find a scholarship for you.
Again, we are not a 24/7 emergency hotline and we cannot accommodate requests for immediate placement in treatment. Please remember: our process takes time. Because we are thorough in our screening of applicants and vetting of treatment program partners, we have had fewer than a dozen people leave treatment before the program ended in the past 4 years. We are extremely proud of this and work hard to match our applicants to the right scholarship.
If you are in an emergency situation, dial 911 immediately.
